The dwelling situated in ISTERNI was built during the period of 1999-2000. The proprietor, who happened to be a German antique dealer hailing from Munich, commissioned me to design a residence that blended in with the surrounding architecture, specifically, the farmhouses and monasteries, while possessing a timeless appearance. To achieve this, we incorporated an inner courtyard, a feature that has been present in Greek architecture since ancient times.

We utilized diverse materials that were sourced from various parts of the world, with the objective of integrating them harmoniously to create a distinctive living space. I am of the opinion that we were successful in this endeavor.
