Vima Deco
This is a description of a luxurious seaside mansion located in the Ambelas region. The owners desired to convert a traditionally built house into a contemporary masterpiece. To achieve this goal, we utilized exceptional materials such as black Persian marble in the bathrooms, paired with vast glass surfaces and large, antiquated-looking slabs (measuring 1.00 x 1.50 meters each) made of Naxian marble throughout the rest of the house.
In the bedrooms, we repurposed teak wood planks from the original house, giving them a new function. The infinity edge pool overlooking the Aegean Sea featured a sizable marble basin, through which water circulated, creating the impression of a waterfall.
The enclosed patio, adorned with old olive trees and natural herbs, provided seclusion from neighboring properties. The basement level was designed with expansive openings in front of all balcony doors, allowing light to penetrate every corner. This area also included a Turkish bath and a large playroom.
Unfortunately, the house changed hands, and the new owners made many alterations. The silver lining, however, is that the residence was photographed and featured in Vima Deco magazine.
